The Serie A side has long been linked with the Brazilian star.
“Yesterday we reached an agreement with Menegazzo and now I don’t think it will be a problem to sort out the final details with Bordeaux,” announced President Enrico Preziosi.
He added: “As for the rest, we need to do something in defence, but for the moment we’re just looking round at what’s available.
“There will not be such an impressive January transfer window, because there isn’t much money around to make investments. Everyone will try to fix their squad on the cheap.”
