Giroud has been key for Montpellier as they lead the Ligue 1 title race going into the final straight from Paris St Germain.
“We are very happy to be at the top of the league, along with Paris Saint-Germain”, said the striker.
“We’ll see which team will show more character by the end of Ligue 1.
