Gomez has become a key player for Bayern Munich since joining the club from Stuttgart in 2009.
The 26-year-old’s current contract with Bayern Munich is set to expire in the summer of 2013.
“Mario is very happy in Munich. That is why we have never been involved with other clubs. There is therefore no objection to a contract extension – we have no time constraints,” Gomez’s agent, Uli Ferber, told Sport Bild.
