Olympiakos are reported to be interested in signing the winger and Gonzalez has admitted he could leave Betis for the right offer.
“At present, I belong to Real Betis and I am here to train and to work hard,” he was quoted as saying by Marca.
“But when the time comes and an offer arrives that is good for the club and they want me to leave, then I will leave. At the moment, however, I have never said that I wanted to go.”
The former Liverpool star has admitted that he is aware of the interest shown by Greek giants Olympiakos.
“I know that they are interested, but it had been reported that they have spoken to me and that is not true,” he revealed.
“We all know football can be like this. But I repeat that I have never said that I wanted to leave and I insist that at the moment, I do not want to talk about anything that is not Betis.”
