Tottenham will face Arsenal in the Carling Cup semi-final first leg at White Hart Lane tonight.
He told BBC Radio Five Live: “Tottenham will be desperate for a trophy.
“The last thing they won was this competition with me eight years ago and they want to get the club back on a winning track again.
“Arsenal will play with the majority of their squad players, although they’re as good as the majority of the Premiership.”
