The new deal will keep the 22-year-old at Dortmund until the summer of 2014, his previous deal was set to expire in the summer of 2012.
“Everybody knows that Borussia Dortmund is my dream club, so I’m obviously delighted with this contract extension,” Grosskreutz was quoted as saying on the club’s official website.
The midfielder joined Dortmund from Rot-Weiss Ahlen in the summer of 2009.
