Guberti has been linked with a move to Roma in the Italian press in recent weeks.
Guberti’s agent, Claudio de Nicola, said: “It is certainly his first choice. He likes the game that Roma plays because it would put him in a position to enhance his technical ability and express himself at the highest level.
“I do not want to make predictions, but there is currently a 50 percent probability that the deal will be completed.”
