Reports on Thursday suggests Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is ready to make a move for Gudjohnsen.
“There been no contact with Blackburn Rovers regarding Eidur,” Gudjohnsen snr told skysports.com.
“Eidur is happy at Barcelona and is concentrating on helping them win silverware this season.
“There is always interest in Eidur, but I have not heard from Blackburn.
“I don’t think anything will happen in January as Eidur wants to stay and Barcelona want to keep him.”
