He said: “Bayern Munich was a big club which has done a lot of fabulous things but Manchester United are the best I have seen.
“The atmosphere at the club and the people — and not just the footballers but all the staff — are something else.
“Even after the first three games this season — none of which we won — there was not a word of negativity.
“It is such a positive, confident place, probably because of the amount of success everybody’s had. You can feel it.”
