Heerenveen manager Jan de Jonge is keen to land the 22-year-old, who is rated at €1million.
“I can say that there are positive discussions and that we have got an enormously positive impression of Heerenveen,” Haglund’s agent Per Jonsson told Fotbolldirekt.
“I believe that it would be a good career step for Philip to join Heerenveen.
“One thing is sure, and that is everyone at Heerenveen are very impressed by Philip, both as a footballer and as a person.”
