The 19-year-old has signed a new deal that will keep him at Pride Park until the summer of 2015.
He told Derby’s official website: “I’m delighted and honoured to have signed a new contract and it’s nice to have it all done and dusted.
“The last four months has been a dream come true for me to be playing regularly in the first team alongside some fantastic players.
“I want to continue to work hard and develop as a player, which I am sure I will do under Nigel Clough and his coaching staff.
“They have shown an unbelievable amount of belief and faith in me and I hope to repay that faith on the pitch.”
