Joselu joins Hoffenheim for an undisclosed fee and has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2016.
Hoffenheim head coach Markus Babbel said: “Joselu has already shown his class at Real Madrid. But he’s still young as well and has a lot of potential.
“He fits in perfectly in this team and at Hoffenheim.”
Joselu joined Real Madrid from Celta Vigo in May 2011.
