Schrock has signed a three-year contract and will join Hoffenheim on a free transfer when his contract with Greuther Furth expires at the end of the season.
“I’m very much looking forward to the challenge at Hoffenheim, who have made a name for themselves on their way to becoming an established side in the Bundesliga,” Schrock told bundesliga.de.
“I can take the next step in my career here.”
The German-born defender made his international debut for the Philippines in a World Cup qualifier against Sri Lanka last June.
“Stephan Schrock was a prime transfer target for mine. He has all the qualities that a modern day defender needs to have,” Hoffenheim boss Markus Babbel said.
“In signing him we have gained the necessary substance and will have more alternatives in our defensive department for the future.”
