The 19-year-old sustained a knee injury in the 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town lat weekend and is likely to undergo surgery next week.
“It will probably be a week before he has surgery but it looks like it’s going to be long-term,” said Pearson in the Hull Daily Mail.
“That’s disappointing because he’s been a real bright spark for us.
“We don’t know how long it will be. Until we can see what’s going on in the knee with surgery, it will be difficult to say but it will be the rest of the season.”
