The Spain international have just recently signed a new six year deal with the Spanish giants.
“I am sure that I will stay at Barcelona. I have already renewed my contract until 2014 and I hope to not just play some of my career at this club, but all of it,” he told Sport.
“Although, of course, this will depend upon my performances because to stay here you always have to be capable of performing at the level required.
“I am delighted to have already spent half of my career here. I grateful to the city and all the Catalan people who have always treated me so well.”
