“I think I qualify as an ‘ex’ in this game, as although I didn’t play very much, I learned a great deal at Milan,” he told Studio Sport.

“I decided to leave because in life there are choices you have to make and I opted for Arsenal, where I played for nine years. Besides, I got the feeling Milan wanted me to go.”
