Gilardino was handed a two-match ban after scoring with his hand against Palermo.
“Gilardino will be there on Wednesday night,” Moratti said.
“I’m convinced that Alberto won’t miss the Fiorentina-Inter game because the disciplinary commission will reconsider their decision.
“They will come to realise that suspending the player is not the right decision.
“In a situation like this, the officials should have just disallowed the goal and so it isn’t the player’s fault.”
