Lucio was not called up for the international friendly against Argentina in November.
“Obviously it would be a dream for me to return to the Selecao. Right now, though, that’s not up to me. It’s a decision for the new coach and we just have to respect that,” Lucio was quoted as saying by fifa.com.
“That’s why I’m just focusing on my objectives here with Inter and why I try to keep on doing my best, to keep on working and winning, because that’s what counts. That’s the only way I can think about everything else.”
