The Argentine spent last season on loan at Roma and has wanted to make the move permanent this summer.
“Three days ago I had a meeting with (Roma ) president Rosella Sensi and sporting director (Daniele) Prade, who reiterated that they have done everything they can to bring Burdisso back,” Burdisso’s agent Fernando Hidalgo told Sky Italia .
“Roma have made a great effort, but for Inter that is not enough and they want more.
“I don’t know if it will be possible to re-open talks, or whether Roma will now look for a different defender.
“If no move to Roma materialises Burdisso will remain at Inter, we have given our word.
“Juventus? I have spoken with (sporting director, Giuseppe) Marotta, but it was nothing serious. It was just a phone call and then I have heard nothing.”
