The Mirror reports that the Italian giants are prepared to offer Brazil right-back Maicon to City in part-exchange for Tevez.
Inter Milan are reportedly keen for a one-for-one swap, but City are reportedly looking for Maicon and at least £25million in cash for the Argentine striker.
The Italian side are reportedly reluctant to pay that much to the Premier League side.
