The Argentina striker has long been linked with a move to the Serie A and Inter Milan’s bitter rivals AC Milan have confirmed they are keen to sign Tevez on loan in January.
“I’m disappointed because the terms that we negotiated with the player, which I imagine are similar to that of Milan’s, we didn’t consider them acceptable,” Inter president Massimo Moratti told Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 27-year-old is currently AWOL in South America following his bitter fall-out with City.
