The Mirror reports that Johnson is considering leaving City after missing out on England’s Euro 2012 squad.
The 24-year-old winger is disappointed he did not get near Roy Hodgson’s Euros squad.
Johnson made just 10 league starts for City this season.
Sunderland are keeping tabs on Johnson’s situation and City are prepared to listen to offers of around £10million for the winger.
