Jorgensen almost expected to be forced to leave the club this summer but on Friday it was annoucned that he has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until June 2010.
“What happened with regards to the contract is nice,” declared the former Udinese player to Bold. “I’m very happy and now I can go on holiday in tranquility after the game against Milan.
“At a certain point I had doubts on the fact that we could reach an agreement, but we both had the same will, that of continuing and in the end we managed to agree.
“I don’t know if next year will be my last season as a Fiorentina player, we’ll see what my desire will be. It will be depend from how next season will go.”
