There has been speculation’s regarding a new deal for the Brazilian defender in recent months.
Jaun’s previous deal was set to expire in 2011.
A statement on Roma’s official website reads: “AS Roma S.p.A and Silveira Dos Santos Juan announce that they have agreed to extend the contract from today until June 30, 2013.
“The player will receive €4.5million for the seasons 2008/09, 2009/10, and 2010/11.
“And €4.6m for the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons, as well as bonuses in relations to preset objectives.”
