Ogbonna made his debut for the Italy Under-21 side in August 2009 and is considered a future star.
“He’s the kind of player that [Napoli coach Walter] Mazzarri likes, being a natural left-back who can play in a three-man defence,” suggested Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi to Radio Kiss Kiss.
“He is also young, with plenty of room for improvement still.”
The 22-year-old has also been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Everton in recent weeks.
