Legrottaglie has urged his team-mates to give their best so that the club can return to its best.
“If there’s something that’s not going well is because in some parts someone gave less,” said Legrottaglie.
“I don’t think that the club said that there are problems in the dressing room. We are ready for both the joys and the disappointments.
“The old guard must obviously give something more, because the personality and experience helps especially the young players, those who are now starting to taste this environment, which is not like playing at Empoli, Siena or at Chievo, as it’s totally different.
“We must help out these lads, because I went through it and it’s not easy. It’s not easy to play and wear this shirt.
“It’s a beautiful thing, but at the same time it’s difficult because it’s a very heavy shirt. They must enjoy themselves, they must take this experience as if they won a year with the champions.”
