Portuguese newspaper Record claims Juventus are keen on signing the midfielder this summer.
Earlier on Wednesday Manchester United midfielder Nani urged manager Sir Alex Ferguson to make a bid for the Sporting Lisbon star.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal are also reportedly interested in the 23-year-old.
