La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus are ready to start talks with Catania over a dea.
Juventus are keen to bring in a new striker as both Vincenzo Iaquinta and Amauri has failed to impress recently.
Catania sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco insists they have no plans to sell the striker.
Lo Monaco said: “Nothing exists between the two clubs, Maxi Lopez remains a Catania player until June and that is that.”
