The Old Lady go into the winter break in Italy just a few points off leaders AC Milan and are looking to launch a serious title tilt in the second half of the season.
Sporting Director Beppe Marotta confirmed that the club are willing and keen to back manager Luigi del Neri, saying that “if a good opportunity to strengthen arises during the winter transfer window, the Old Lady will do so.”
The club have been linked with Napoli’s Fabiano Santacroce, Rubin Kazan’s Salvatore Bocchetti and Parma’s Cristian Zaccardo.
