Kaboul said: “I heard about Rangers interest in me and it is very flattering to be linked with such a famous club.
“But nothing can be done about it until the interest becomes serious. If they make a firm approach, then we can definitely look at it.
“They are a very good club with a huge fan base and the chance to play for Rangers in British football does excite me.
“I have a contract at Auxerre until June 2009 and right now it’s only a dream because there has been no firm offer. But if there is then I will definitely listen.”
