Kaladze told the Sun: “It breaks my heart to see him playing the way he does now.
“It is clear he is not expressing himself and that he has not settled into the Chelsea side.
“I am certain he misses playing for AC Milan. It seems that he has not got into Chelsea’s way of playing.
“I spoke with him before he took the final decision but I did not give him any advice. This is a personal matter where everybody has to act according to their own way of thinking.”
The Ukrainian was brought to Stamford Bridge this summer in a £30million deal from AC Milan.
