Kamara insists had Roy Hodgson stayed in charge of the club this season he would have left.
But the striker insists he is happy under new boss Mark Hughes.
“If Roy Hodgson was still at Fulham, I would have definitely gone,” Kamara told the Daily Star.
“When Mark Hughes came in, I sat with him in his office and he said, ‘You have an opportunity to play and do well’ so I decided to stay.
“I prefer his more attacking football. I had a good relationship with Hodgson but I prefer Mark Hughes.”
