The Republic of Ireland international is keen to play his part in helping to see the Hammers safe.
West Ham are set for crucial clashes against Blackburn, Wigan and Sunderland.
“There are a few games to go and if we can get a few wins out of them, if we can get nine or seven points, that could be enough,” Keane told Sky Sports News.
“It’s so close down there for those of us that are involved in it, so it’s difficult circumstances, but I still think we have enough to get ourselves out of it.”
Keane is currently on a short-term loan deal at West Ham which will expire at the end of the season.
“We’ll see what happens,” he said.
“I’m just concentrating at the moment on trying to keep West Ham in the Premier League. We will see what the situation is in the summer.”
