Larsson keen to sort out Birmingham future

The 24-year-old’s contract with Birmingham is set to expire in the summer, but he is still in talks with the club over a new deal.

Larsson told Fotbollskanalen.se, when asked if he wanted to stay at Birmingham: “Yes, and it’s like I’ve always said, I like it at the club.

“And even if it might sound strange at the moment, I get to play on regular basis.

“But you need to know that this will continue, and that you get to play.”

Larsson added on a new deal: “If I am honest there is not that much new to tell.

“We have come closer to each other, but where we end up is not that easy to tell.

“It is hard to say how long time things take. The coming year will be very important for my career, so you want everything to be right.

“But my contract ends this summer and we need to decide in time either to continue or to find another solution.”
