The Argentina international has been strongly linked with a summer move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
“Lavezzi wants to take Napoli into the Champions League and maybe even play against Messi’s Barcelona,” Alejandro Mazzoni told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“That would be great for the city and for everyone.
“Pocho (Lavezzi) and his team-mates want to play in the Champions League and there are just four games left.
“I haven’t heard anything (from Barca). I was told things had been written on the internet but you can’t trust what’s on the internet.”
