The 24-year-old’s agent, Gilmar Rinaldi, has confirmed that Lazio and several other Italian clubs are interested.
“Santos is a great player. I can confirm that Lazio are interested in him,” Rinaldi affirmed to LaLaziosiamonoi.it.
“He was monitored when the club’s directors were in South America during the winter transfer window.
“[Sporting director Igli] Tare was watching [team-mate Humberto] Rever, but he stayed a few extra days to inquire about Santos.
“I am unsure about a percentage that Santos will go to Lazio. I know that the side like him, but other teams in Italy have contacted me as well.”
