Afellay joined Barcelona from PSV in the January transfer window in a €3million deal, but has recently been linked with a move to Italian side Lazio.
“I don’t understand where this kind of news is coming from. I honestly don’t know anything about it,” Janssen was quoted as saying by Tuttomercatoweb.
“He doesn’t have any reasons to move on. Ibrahim is doing very well at his current club. I can only repeat that both club and player are very happy with each other.”
Afellay’s current contract at Barcelona is set to expire in the summer of 2014.
