The 24-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs after impressing for Rotherham United in League Two this season.
“I’m here next season as far as I know,” Le Fondre told the Rotherham Advertiser.
“I’m more than happy to be here but I want to play higher and everyone knows that. It doesn’t thrill me playing in this division.”
“I think I deserve to play higher and I think I’ve done my time in League Two,” added Le Fondre.
“I’ve scored goals in this division consistently and if I’m here next season then I’ll probably score 25 goals again.
“We’ll just see what happens.”
