The 21-year-old has impressed since joining Bolton in a £2.2million deal from FC Seoul in the summer.
But Lee failed to make an impact against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
“I have never come across a defender like Evra. He is very difficult to deal with both in attack and in defence,” Lee told Korean media.
“He’s a truly great player. He’s so good in so many aspects of the game and I’m clearly not at that level yet.
“I have to think harder and increase my concentration when facing a player like him. I hope to be involved more in situations like this so I can improve as a player.”
