The 25-year-old has signed a three-year contract extension after impressing for Leeds in the Championship this season.
“I’m delighted to sign,” Somma told the club’s official website. “When I came here to try out and I never imagined I would be in this position.
“Last season I thought I did what I had to do when I went out on loan, and that gave me the extra confidence to come back here.
“I’ve worked hard and the club have acknowledged that, and I’m really happy to sign a three-year contract.
“I can concentrate on the games and I’m signed and ready to go. The aim for me is to get goals and play a part in getting the club in the Premier League.
“It’s been a great start to the season, there’s great staff here, and it’s a great club to be at.”
