The 26-year-old claims that his agent has been approached by Leverkusen’s sporting director Rudi Voeller.
“Leverkusen’s sporting director Rudi Voeller recently approached my agent,” said the Belgium international to Het Nieuwsblad.
“The January transfer window closes on Monday though and a winter transfer isn’t really an option. Maybe something will happen during the summer transfer window.
“Voeller told my agent that Leverkusen see me as an interesting player and they’ll continue to follow my progress in the upcoming months.
“However, there’s a big difference between a club that’s just keeping tabs on a player and a club that actually wants to sign that player. I’d be interested in moving to the Bundesliga, but I still have a contract with Anderlecht until 2013.”
