PSG kept up the chase at the top with a 2-1 win at home to Sochaux, as Rennes beat Arles 4-0 and Lyon defeated Lorient 3-0, to leave all three teams on 34 points, one behind the leaders.
Toulouse are in fifth after a 1-0 win over Nancy, Montpellier defeated Valenciennes 2-1, whilst St. Etienne went down 2-1 at Lens.
Monaco drew 1-1 at Auxerre in Laurent Banide’s first game back in charge of the principality club, and Brest lost 3-1 to Caen.
