Chalme is expected to leave Lille and is looking for a fresh challenge away from the Stade Felix Bollaert.
Chalme said: “I am in contact with Ligue 1 players who will play in the UEFA Cup and other teams have asked about me, including Bolton, who have been tracking me for a number of weeks.
“Compared to players like [Auxerre’s] Bakary Sagna, who is under contract for a couple of years, I have the advantage of being free next season. It helps to receive offers.
“I would have liked to talk to the coach or the directors before the end of the season. I would have loved them to make the first step. They didn’t, it isn’t a problem.
“If I have to come back to training [with Lille] at the end of June, I will do it, smiling.
“I want to experience something else. Everybody at Lille knows it, if I have an interesting proposition, I will leave.”
