The 21-year-old has recently been linked with a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Tottenham.
“For now I can only say what Eden said on Monday on TV: Yes, there is interest from Spurs, and no, there’s no offer,” Thierry Hazard told Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.
“The priority for Eden is one thing: games. Opportunities. It might be better to join a club just below the biggest.”
Hazard’s father believes that his son is right to prefer a move to the Premier League.
“He’s made the choice to go to England,” he said. “We also considered the Primera Division, but there are only two teams in Spain if you want to win silverware: Real and Barcelona.
“We have to be honest, even though Eden has plenty of talent, the competition for places is huge there.”
