Taiwo has been linked with a move away from the club and Bayern Munich, Tottenham and Liverpool are among those reportedly interested in the defender.
Taiwo’s contract with Marseille is set to expire at the end of the season.
“If the club makes me a proposal and I agree, I will re-sign,” the 25-year-old told OMPlanete.com. “I am sure we will come to an agreement.”
“Taiwo is a part of the family,” Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier stated. “Discussions will begin soon. If he wants to stay, we will be happy because he is a quality player.”
