Liverpool are considering a move for Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi this summer, with Manchester United also in the fray.
Guehi, whose contract runs until 2026 at Selhurst Park, appears unlikely to extend his stay, prompting Liverpool’s interest in the 23-year-old England defender, according to The Telegraph.
However, Manchester United’s potential appointment of Dan Ashworth as sporting director could intensify competition between the two Premier League giants for his signature.
Ashworth is known for his interest in Guehi while he was at Newcastle United. Guehi has long been linked with Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal.
