Sky Sports reports that the Reds are not expected to sign any new players after having failed with a move for Fulham star Clint Dempsey.
Liverpool offered England international Jordan Henderson as part of the deal to sign Dempsey, but Fulham rejected the bid.
Liverpool were also linked with a move for Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge.
