The People reports that Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina has recommended the 26-year-old to manager Kenny Dalglish and director of football Damien Comolli.

Malaga, Shakhtar Donetsk and Napoli have already made £13million bids for the player, who has a £28million release clause in his contract.
