Bellamy said: “It was nice to get that goal early on, especially at that end of the ground because I’ve enjoyed some of my best moments in football there.
“But I could have got a couple more. I’m obviously happy with the goal I did score but disappointed not to have got more because we ended up losing the match.
“On chances created, we should have been out sight in the first half but credit to Newcastle, they kept going and got the win in the end.”
He added: “Yes, I got a bit of stick from the fans but I’ve no bitter feeling towards Newcastle.”
