Cosmi admits he is relieved that Francesco Totti will miss the game for Roma.
“Is he not playing? Good for us, as it is painful for everyone when he is well,” Cosmi said during yesterday’s press conference.
“Roma are not the same side in the league as they are in Europe and they are transformed at the Olimpico. So, it’s a good thing that Francesco doesn’t play and we will not feel defeated at the start.
“I don’t want that and so I will try and field the best possible formation. There are no safe games where you can take maximum points from and I want to play them all as best as we can, starting at the Olimpico and then on Wednesday against Atalanta and next week with Inter.”
